Autumn is on its way

Summer temperatures have dropped, and the rains have arrived at Wild Finca.

Dear Wild Finca supporters,

We hope you have had a wildlife filled week so far! Last week we hosted friend and fabulous folk musician, Sam Lee. In three days with him we had a myriad of birds over Wild Finca; three Hobbies, a Peregrine Falcon, Egyptian and Griffon Vulture, Booted and Short-toed Eagle, Honey Buzzard and we even heard a Nightingale croak! That last encounter was particularly special as the first time we met Sam was whilst filming his otherworldly Singing With Nightingales, a truly joyful, heart-exploding, experience.

Talking of inspiring events, we are really excited as we have just booked our tickets to the Festival of Wellbeing on the 5th of October, which is a full day of thought-provoking live online talks from some of the world’s most inspiring thinkers and activists - including Gillian Burke, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Satish Kumar and Daniel Christian. Funds raised from this event will support the continued work of The Resurgence Trust, a brilliant initiative, which is why we wanted to share this with you.

And don’t forget to put in your diary our LIVE Q&A on the 17th of September at 8.30pm UK time. We are getting really excited about hosting this and talking all things Wild Finca with you! We’ve already had some fantastic questions sent in, like; What have been your biggest surprises or unexpected successes? Which has got us thinking! If there are anymore questions you’d like answered please do send them over in the run up to the event.
